The Story...

  • The following is a summary of the events that have occurred in the story, what exists of it. These fragments seem to tell a story, at least a series of events, with characters who seem somewhat significant.
[unknown date]

(from The Genesis video)

Two girls, possibly sisters - a brunette and a red-head - traveling down a road. One is drawing a "vision" of sorts, including an Icefly, what appears to be a very large doorway covered in a grid-like pattern, and a heavy vehicle. The brunette, holding a blue, girl's briefcase, takes an interest in the drawings which are tossed to the floor one by one. She takes one, and as the vehicle pulls to a stop, she exits and is left behind on the road. The redhead still inside doesn't seem to notice the other one's left the vehicle until it begins pulling away. The girls watch each the other as the car drives away.

(from The Genesis video)

A heavy vehicle is traversing an arctic landscape, driven by one man possibly in his mid-late 20's, eventually arriving at his destination. He drills into the ice with a cylindrical drill head and extracts what appears to be an Icefly encased in a block of ice. The vehicle and icefly are reminiscent of the drawings the red-headed girl had drawn.

(from The Genesis video)

A woman, with short, red hair is drawing something in a large, open art studio.

(from The Genesis video)

A woman is being driven, alone, along a dark street, holding a metal briefcase. The car arrives at an enormous gateway, reminiscent of the drawing sketched by the young red-headed girl. The vehicle enters as the doors swing open revealing an expansive underground installation.

(from The Genesis video)

The metal briefcase is carried into a laboratory with floor markings that imply a pentagonal significance. A man (played by Terry O'Quinn) takes out a transparent cylindrical container which contains the Icefly, and holds it up in front of his face. At first he looks heavily concentrating, but his visage becomes of one delight, satisfaction -- then he releases it slowly, and it hovers. He appears somewhat amazed.

(from The Genesis video)

A classroom, possibly at the Traelek Institute, is filled with attentive students who are listening to Terry O'Quinn's character provide a lesson about the senses and how essential they are to human kind - that they are warning us that we are in danger, and must act now.

(from Traelekinstitute.com)

Traelek Institute has been in business since 1986.
Feb 7, 1996

(from "blameless")

A fire was started in Rubillon Heights which destroyed a home and half an acre of property. The resident family was unharmed. Neighbors heard arguing in the house earlier, as if the son (remaining unnamed) was in trouble for something.
